General Questions
The Swap Club is an Airpods and iPhone exchange service. We offer you a selection of Airpods with refreshed battery life alongside upgraded iPhones in exchange for your old device.
1) Place your order online.
2) The Swap Club will ship out your swap device. *Same day if you order by 4pm EST.
3) Once you receive your swap device, you'll have five(5) business days - starting the day after delivery - to mail us back your old device. Your box includes a prepaid shipping label.
4) Your old device will live on as the next Airpods or iPhone for another Swap Club customer.
The Swap Club delivers pre-owned, professionally renewed Airpods and iPhones.
- iPhones:
Physical Condition: Light signs of wear and a virtually scratch-free screen.
Technical Condition: Perfectly functioning.Our iPhones are fully functional with minor cosmetic blemishes. As pre-owned devices, there may be small traces of use on the back and side of the device, though these do not affect the quality or performance of the device whatsoever.
We ask that you ensure you are satisfied with your replacement iPhone before mailing your old iPhone back within 5 business days. Click here to learn more about our quality.
- Airpods: The AirPods you received are refurbished, therefore fine scratches and other minor imperfections may be visible on your replacement units. Each AirPod is cleaned with medical grade solutions and delivered sterilized in "no-touch" packaging to be as sterile as the day you bought them. You can learn about. ourAirPods quality here.
The Swap Club delivers pre-owned, professionally renewed Airpods and iPhones.
- iPhones:
Every iPhone Swap we send out is guaranteed to have at least an 80% battery health.
You can check your current device’s battery health by going to Settings -> Battery -> Battery Health.
- Airpods:
The batteries we use are similar in performance to your original ones from Apple. We have performed independent and thorough tests using specialized battery diagnostic equipment to determine these batteries are similar in battery performance and lifespan as Apple's original batteries.
No, you will receive a reconditioned device that has undergone a rigorous testing, polishing (sometimes, for iPhones), and sanitization process.
Your old device is in good hands! Once we receive your device, we will either recycle it for parts or put it through an advanced cleaning and repair process to be reused again. Regardless of the outcome, the device you send in will NEVER end up in a landfill.
The device you receive is reconditioned, therefore fine scratches and other minor cosmetic imperfections may be visible on it. Your device will be perfectly functional and operational.Each Swap Club device is cleaned with medical grade solutions and delivered sterilized in "no-touch" packaging.
We ask that you spend time testing your replacement AirPods or iPhone before you send your device back to us to ensure you are 100% satisfied. Due to the nature of our replacement process, once you ship your old device to us we will not be able to issue a refund or return it back to you. Yes, we’ve found the solution to the impossible using specially developed equipment. We are proud to be able to replace the battery, so that your AirPods will perform just like the day you bought them.

Yes, we are currently offering singles for Gen 1 and Gen 2. Make sure to pick your correct generation.
No, we are currently only able to do Generation 1 and 2. If you'd like to be notified when we can do Pros, please reach out to support@theswapclub.com.
We can only fix battery and disconnection issues related to the battery of your AirPod buds. If your AirPods are having issues unrelated to battery (such as audio cracking or water damage) and are not eligible for the swap, we would love to recycle them for you. Please reach out to support@theswapclub.com.
AIRPODS WE CANNOT ACCEPT: Due to the nature of our swap service, we cannot accept AirPods that are in the following conditions:
Ineligible Physical Conditions:
- Broken or have broken mesh
- Permanently stained
- Cracked or with deep dents
- Broken or have broken mesh
- Fake or discolored
- Water damaged or corroded
Ineligible Functional Conditions:
- Cannot power on
- Microphone does not work.
Please note, if your charging case is no longer working (due to water damage, corrosion, etc.) these replacement AirPods will not resolve your AirPod issues.If you have questions regarding the condition of your AirPods please contact us with photos at support@theswapclub.com. Yes! If you’re missing one AirPod you can purchase “One For Two AirPod Battery Replacement Swap”. You will receive two fresh AirPods and mail us back your single pod.

We are replacing batteries for Apple AirPods Generation 1 and Generation 2 at this moment. If you are interested in receiving battery replacement service for AirPods Pro, please join the waitlist here.

Yes, AirPods with serial number 1 are replacement units that you will receive when you replace existing AirPods directly from Apple. You may have previously claimed warranty from defects or replaced them under AppleCare programs.

Signs your charging case is likely the issue:
1. Your AirPod buds cannot charge to 100% in your charging case.
2. Your friend's AirPods do not work in your charging case.
3. Your charging case is water damaged.
4. Your charging case has corrosion at the charging contacts.

To qualify for an iPhone device swap, your old device must meet certain criteria (please see below).
Devices that DON’T qualify:

Device screen is shattered/ has deep deep cracks
Device back cover is shattered/ has deep cracks
Camera is cracked
Functional:
Home button is no longer functioning (if applicable)
Face ID is no longer functioning (if applicable)
Water damaged
Camera/Microphone is nonfunctioning

Minor scratches and small scuffs are OK
Regular wear and use

Device is generally functional, with no major operational issues
Device is unlocked, free of carrier blacklist, and free of financial obligations

Returning my Old Device:
Please ensure you are satisfied with your replacement AirPods before you drop your old pair in the mail. We will not be able to return your original pair back to you once they are shipped to us.
You have 5 business days starting after the date of delivery to drop your AirPods in the mail. You'll find the prepaid shipping label inside your box. Drop off your box at any USPS. Find the closest USPS here.
You must send us your old device back to us no later than five business days after receiving your new device to avoid an additional fee up to the value of the iPhone and/or AirPods you received. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to support@theswapclub.com.
No, please hold on to your old device until your new one arrives.
